Awesome smoked chicken wings. Walleye fish fry was great, light breading and fresh and tender fish. My friend had a basic cheese burger and he will be coming back for other combinations in the near future.

Love this place! The staff is super friendly, the food is delicious & there are always new daily specials.

Beer is nice and chilled! They have daily specials that you can only get by eatting in and they are Great Deals and taste good too! Moz sticks are in an egg roll wrap and are not greasy. The reuben was nothing to brag about but the reuben appetizers are good. Atmosphere is nice and the service is very good.

Very homey and comfortable place to meet with friends or family. I'm vegetarian but I hear they're fish fry is very popular.

Casual, comfortable, neighborhood sports bar. Where everyone knows your name. Really good food. They know how to make a drink. Can get very crowded so good to eat a little before or after the traditional times

Good bar, with decent food. Had a brisket sandwich which was delicious, a friend had a burger which was good. Friendly staff, very similar to the other McGinn's!

A casual, fun, dining/drinking/socializing place to go. I have never had a bad meal or experience there. Excellent food and service. Behind the bar, Julie is the greeter par excellence and a great bartender. Slims soups are the best. The Galloway chicken salad ( get it blackened ) is a true prize. A gotta go to place!!

Our server Mary was awesome! We had a good meal for the price and a nice time as well. We have had dinner here many times and it's always worth the 1/2 mile drive. I would recommend to anyone to give Slim'sva try.

Came in with people for crab legs. This was my first time eating here. Food was good except for my crab cake. I just was not a fan. I'm used to a less spiced crab cake. The atmosphere was good, and not too loud. Our waitress, I forget her name, provided great service. I'll be back, and so will everyone in my party.

Consistently first rate service... and there's always a new app, sandwich, or entree on the menu or in the specials that I haven't seen anywhere else. It's got the feel of a pub, but the grub of a destination restaurant.

Food is very tasty. Our service was really slow when we were there, but the server was really nice.

Went here at on Monday after work on a friend's suggestion. Got there about 5 and there were good happy hour specials. Stayed for dinner and had $3 hamburgers with homemade chips. Another friend had wings which were also very reasonably priced. This was a great find. Definitely coming back there again with friends.

Stopped here for lunch. The service was slow but friendly. Food is just ok, not bad, not great. I'm honestly not sure I would come again as other places serve more authentic and delicious Irish pub food for around the same cost.

Always good food and fun

Very tasty food plus good pricing and accomodating wait staff equals *****.Interior clean, though a chair at our table was broken on arrival. Restrooms clean. Portions ample. Beer fine, good carbonation, none were flat or off tasting. Only negative, and a minor one, was that the toast was barely toasted. I'd certainly visit again.

Great local pub and restaurant. Small, but has a cozy, neighborhood friend vibe (like Cheers). Great fish fry and Reuben. Solid burgers and Irish fare. Ok tap selection, with all the major Irish players present (Guinness, Harp, Smithwicks).

Food is always good. Bloody Mary is good. If you have not already been here, try it.

The combo fish fry is great! Each kind of fish actually tastes like a different fish, and yummy shrimp! The only place that I don't use tartar sauce. Potato pancakes are not greasy. Friendly waitstaff.

A traditional Wisconsin bar and grill. It could use a few comfort updates (chairs, restrooms, etc). The staff, service, food and drinks are wonderful.

Wife and I have been here many times and it never disappoints. The staff is very friendly and attentive. We especially enjoy the Friday fish fries. Cozy atmosphere makes for a somewhat intimate dining experience. The only downside could be the parking. Spaces may be at a premium during peaks times.

We went in here because the place we originally wanted to go was packed. I have to say, we were very pleased with our decision. It was very busy here as well, but we were seated almost immediately. The waitresses were running their butts off, but were very pleasant. The service was outstanding, and the food was very good. We had fish frys, my wife had the standard cod, I had the creole style cod. Both were excellent. The fish was cooked perfectly, the coating was crunchy, the fish tender and flaky. Whoever is doing the frying knows what they are doing, no grease at all. Overall an excellent experience, and we will definetely be back!!
